Oggi, 10 Aprile , presso il centro di arte contemporanea di Punta della Dogana – François Pinault Foundation, si inaugura la mostra Elogio del Dubbio, a cura di Caroline Bourgeois. Un’esposizione corale, di una ventina di artisti, che presenteranno opere storiche e nuove progettate appositamente per gli spazi di Punta Della Dogana. Le opere analizzano la sfera del turbamento e la messa in discussione delle certezze in tema di identità.

L’occasione per presentarvi questa nuova mostra e’ molto importante perché, proprio a partire da questa settimana alcune collezioni dei designer che lavorano con Scicche saranno in vendita presso il bookshop di questo importantissimo museo veneziano!

Punta Della Dogana con la sua forma perfettamente triangolare divide  il Canal Grande dal Canale della Giudecca. E’ l’ ex porto monumentale che è diventato sede permanente delle opere della collezione di François Pinault dopo un importante progetto di riqualifica portato avanti dall’architetto giapponese Tadao Ando e terminato nel marzo del 2009.

Today, April the 10th, the Museum Punta della Dogana will show In Praise of Doubt, a coral exhbition of around 20 artists, curated by Caroline Bourgeois, that presents historical pieces and new works including several site-specific projects that question the idea of uncertainty, our convictions about identity, and revisit the relationship between intimate space and the space of artwork.

The occasion to introduce you to this new exhibition, is really interesting: since from today on several collection of the designers that work with Scicche will be for sale at the bookshop of said Museum in Venice.

Punta Della Dogana is unique in its shape, since it is a perfect triangle that divides the Canal Grande and the Giudecca’s Canal. It used to be a monumental harbor that became the permament exhibition for the François Pinault Collection after an important  requalification project held by Tadao Ando and ended in March 2009.
